Lit Fest (Class - I) - 2025

On the 4th day of the JGIS Fest, Class I students performed The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde on 6th February 2025. With Dr. Falguni Vasavada, Professor at MICA, as the Chief Guest, the students captivated the audience by bringing the novel to life through expressive acting, dynamic body language and confident narration. Their energetic performance, enhanced by dancers, left a lasting impression on all present, showcasing their remarkable talent and creativity.

Lit Fest (Class - II) - 2025

The students of Class II brought the timeless tale of “Fantastic Mr. Fox” by Roald Dahl to life with remarkable flair on 5th February 2025. Through their vibrant performances, they skillfully transformed the words on a page into dynamic expressions of creativity and imagination, allowing the essence of the story to come alive in ways that were both educational and profoundly meaningful.

Lit Fest (Class - III) - 2025

We are excited to continue our journey through the world of literature with another captivating novel. On Tuesday, 4th February 2025, the students of Class III portrayed an enchanting story “James and the Giant Peach” written by Roald Dahl. Prof. Nutan Kotak, an eminent scholar and Head of the Department of English at the School of Languages, Gujarat University, graced the event as the Chief Guest for the day.

Lit Fest (Class - IV) - 2025

Storytelling is the art of conveying ideas, emotions and experiences through narratives. This sentiment echoed throughout the 6th edition of the JGIS LIT FEST-2025, a vibrant celebration of literature and creativity hosted by JG International School. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Indira Nityanandam (Principal (Retd), Smt. S.R. Mehta Arts College, Ahmedabad and Director, Bharatiya Bhasha Sanskriti Sansthan, Gujarat Vidyapith), as the Chief Guest of the day.

 

Republic Day - 2025

JG International School celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India on 26th January, 2025 with events that truly captured the spirit of patriotism and unity. The day commenced with a warm welcome speech from the Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma, setting an inspiring tone for the proceedings that followed.

Carnival - 2025

JG International School presented its Annual Display of Academics and Activities, “Expressions - An Arena of Creations and Innovations ‟ on Saturday, 18th January, 2025. The event showcased a variety of co-curricular activities and each performance, from the graceful movements of Dance and Aerobics to the intricate strokes of Calligraphy and Drawing, reflected the dedication and enthusiasm of the students.

Fete Fiesta - 2025

Fete Fiesta was a vibrant display of creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, with students and teachers showcasing their artistic talents through various stalls. A special segment tailored to children’s interests featured a range of exciting rides and games, adding a lively and joyful atmosphere to the day.

Annual Sports Day - 2025

JG International School celebrated Annual Sports Day on Friday, 10th  January 2025, igniting spirits of teamwork and resilience! The Opening Ceremony kicked off with the flag hoisting by Chairman, Dr. M.P. Chandran.

The Chairman declared the Sports Day Open and the Sports Coordinator, Mr. Kuldeep Gadhavi, escorted him to light the ceremonial torch, followed by symbolic release of the colorful balloons, representing each house.

Christmas Celebration - 2024

Reliving the magic of our school Christmas Celebration.

JG International School was filled with festive cheer as students came together to celebrate the magic of Christmas on 20th December, 2024. The celebration began with a captivating video, The Story of the Birth of Jesus, which set the tone for the day, reminding everyone of the deeper meaning behind Christmas. As the video ended, the school was filled with the joyous sounds of Christmas carols and rhymes, sung by our little stars with enthusiasm.

Awareness about Energy Conservation Among School Students (Class-VII) – 2024

An informative session on "Awareness about Energy Conservation Among School Students" was conducted by Mr. Vikram Sridhar a renowned story teller from Bangalore for the students of Class VII on 27th November 2024. It was presented as the ‘Greenmosphere for Life’ an initiative by the Consumer Education and Research Centre’.

The primary objective of the session was to create awareness among students about the importance of energy conservation and how to preserve energy resources effectively.

Children’s Day Celebration – 2024

JG International School hosted a joyful and lively Children's Day celebration on 14th November, 2024 to recognize the importance of children in shaping a brighter future. The event began with the speech about the significance of Children's Day and the contributions of Jawaharlal Nehru towards children's education and welfare.

Inter House Skating Competition - 2024

"Rolling with the speed and style, our students of classes VI to XII showed off their skating skills in the inter-house skating competition, held on Friday, 25th October, 2024.

The top-notch skaters of JG International School gave stellar performances and brought laurels to their respective houses. The students were able to showcase their talent, presenting an energetic and enthusiastic performance that was applauded by the audience.
