  • Annual Sports day (2018-19)

    JG International School organized their Annual Sports Day on 5th January,  2019 with great enthusiasm and excitement. Around 300 students from class III to XII participated in various races like 50mtrs flat race, 100mtrs, 200mtrs and relay for the final day events. The highlight of the day was the School Relay and teachers’ games. The Executive Director,  Mr. M.P. Chandran, Principal, Ms. Kavita Sharma and the Parents were invited to witness the event and cheer the children.

  • JG CUP Opening Ceremony - 2018

    The Opening Ceremony of the eleventh JG Cup Football Tournament 2018 was organised by JGIS on 27th December, 2018. This mega event spanning 5 days had 35 teams participating and competing under two categories : inter school boys and inter school open boys from all over Gujarat. The Chief Guest of the evening was none other than our Chairman, Shri John Geevargese. The occasion was graced by Executive Director, Mr. M. P. Chandran who is also the Chairperson, Organising Committee of JG Cup Football Tournament, our Principal, Ms.

  • Annual Day - 2018

    JGIS celebrated its 15th Annual Day on 23rd December, 2018. Mr. Piruz Khambatta (a JGIS parent), was the Chief Guest. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chairman of ASIA Charitable Trust, Shri John Geevergese, President Mr. K.L.N.Sastry, Vice Chairman Mr. John Jose and the Executive Director Mr. M.P. Chandran.

  • School Garba -- 2018

    JG International School presented its Annual Navratri extravaganza –  Garba  ni  Ramzat  on 13th October, 2018. The auspicious event began with offering prayers to the Diety and performing  Aarti by our Honourable chairman ,  Shri John Gee Vargese and Executive Director Mr. M.P.Chandran.  The trustees and other managing committee members too graced the occasion. The event saw different performances  by students and staff members, giving various glimpses of traditional as well as modern form of garba.

  • Inter House Hindi Recitation ( Classes I to IV ) - 2018

    Inter House Hindi Recitation Competition for the year 2018-19 was held on 5th October, 2018. This was a platform provided to the students to present their linguistic skills. Students recited Hindi poems confidently.  The competition was conducted for two categories, the junior category having participants from grade I & II and the senior category having participants from grade III &  IV.

  • Field Trip of Nursery to 5 acres

    Children of Nursery visited the 5 Acres of Kindness farm located at the outskirts of the city at Gyaspur, 

    It was related to their ongoing theme ‘Farm Animals’. 5 Acres of Kindness inculcates among the children, the values of empathy, respect and moral responsibility of taking care of sick and disabled animals around us. This farm is a wonderful initiative, under which, rescued animals of a wide variety, from Gujarat and neighbouring states, are housed. The rescue farm, is run by Animal HELP Foundation.

  • Field Trip to Post Office by Class III - 2018

    In an educative and fun filled trip, students visited the Post Office and learnt about the services provided by the Post Office to the public.

    The children learnt about the different services available at the Post Office such as registered post, money order and speed post. Children were excited to see how the letters were stamped, sorted and put in different boxes and shelves.

  • Field trip of class III to NEPRA - 2018

    Students of Class 3( Sky, Water and Earth) went to NEPRA Resources, a recycling unit on 20th and 27th September, 2018 respectively.  The visit was arranged to have an understanding of their unit in Social Studies- Environment and Natural Resources.  They observed the separation of wet and dry waste manually and through specialized machines.  The waste comprised of things made of plastic, metal and paper.  The students came to know the importance of proper disposal of the waste and the use of recycled materials.
