Annual Sports Day - 2020

JG International School organized their Annual Sports Day on 4th January, 2020 with great enthusiasm and excitement. Around 300 students from class III to XII participated in various races like 50mtrs flat race, 100mtrs, 200mtrs and relay for the final day events. The highlight of the day was the School Relay and teachers’ games. The Executive Director, Mr. M.P. Chandran, Principal, Dr.Kavita Sharma and the Parents were invited to witness the event and cheer the children.

Annual Day - 2019

JGIS celebrated its 16th Annual Day on 23rd December, 2019. Ms. Preetha Sunil, the Assistant Commissioner of AMC (a JGIS parent), was the Chief Guest. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chairman of ASIA Charitable Trust, Dr. John Geeverghese, President, and the Executive Director Mr. M.P. Chandran.

JGMUN 3rd Edition - 2019

The third edition of JGMUN was met with gusto by everyone. The day started off with registrations, followed shortly by the opening ceremony and the lighting of the lamp to mark the auspicious occasion. Our Principal addressed all those attending the conference with a short yet sweet speech. The conference was then declared open with the thud of a gavel by the Secretary General, Mr. Ujjwal Agrawal.

Field Trip of Jr.KG to Aquarium - 2019

Children of Jr. KG Rose and Sunflower went to Kankaria Aquarium on Wednesday 16/10/2019. The Field Trip was related to their theme Sea Creatures. Children were amused seeing different types of fishes, their colours and sizes. They could name the different parts of the body of fishes. Some could even remember the names of different fishes. After visiting the aquarium, children also walked around the lake, made small observations of the surrounding and conversed with one another using good vocabulary.

School Garba - 2019

JG International School celebrated Navratri festival by organizing – ‘Shubh Navratri’ Garba night on 5th October, 2019. The auspicious event began with offering prayers to Goddess Shakti and performing Aarti by our Honourable chairman ,  Shri. John Geevargese and Executive Director Mr. M.P.Chandran.  The trustees and other managing committee members too graced the occasion. Our Chairman ,  Shri. John Geevargese initiated a thought of minimizing the use of plastic and what steps school is taking towards this initiative.

CAS Club activity - 2019

Students of CAS Club, along with IBDP- I, organized  a month long collection drive in the school in August, 2019 and collected old clothes, footwear and toys as a part of the club activity. The objective of this drive is to sensitize the students towards the needy and underprivileged section of the society and to give back to the society by contributing their bit.

Pre primary Grandparents' Day - 2019

Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and love.

To shower love and respect towards the grandparents, the Pre Primary celebrated ‘Grandparents Day’ on 25/09/2019 in the school auditorium.

A Photo Booth was put up in the auditorium. Grandparents had lovely time, getting clicked using different props kept there.

Pre-Primary Fancy Dress Show - 2019

Professionals and Community Helpers are people that directly impact the lives of others. They deliver a service that makes our lives easier. It is important for all of us to know the ways in which the Professionals work. Many Professionals have easily identifiable work attire or clothes. This makes it easy to know their role in the community and is helpful if you need to approach them for help.

Onam Celebration - 2019

Onam celebration was organized on 9th September, 2019. We had our Executive Director, Mr M.P Chandran  and  Ms.Chandrika Chandran as our special guest for the event. A cultural programme was organised  related to the theme and fervour of  Onam- the harvest festival of  Kerala. Students and teachers performed some excellent dances and regaled the audience.

Class Presentation

Students of Grade II Krishna presented the topic “Bicycles” through a play on 28th August, 2019. They exhibited the topic by sharing facts about the types of bicycles used in different eras. Through this presentation students unraveled the benefits of cycling in their daily life and how this non- pollutant vehicle is helpful in protecting our environment. The students demonstrated different skills with great confidence through their performance.
