Lit Fest (Class- VIII) - 2026

JGIS Lit Fest brought an engaging and memorable literary session presented by the students of Class VIII, celebrating the magic of storytelling through Wonder and Treasure Island. On 12th February, 2026, our students stepped beyond textbooks and into timeless adventures through captivating dual performances that left the audience spellbound.

The first play, Wonder by R.J. Palacio, beautifully portrayed the poignant journey of an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face. The second performance brought to life the adventurous spirit of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. With remarkable energy and enthusiasm, the students recreated the thrilling tale of pirates, hidden treasures and daring escapades, infusing the stage with vibrant drama and excitement.

Both plays resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring reflection on bravery, compassion and the enduring power of empathy and storytelling.
