The auditorium of JG International School came alive with rhythm, rhyme and youthful energy on 8^th August, 2025, as the Inter-House English Poem Recitation Competition unfolded, showcasing the bright and enthusiastic voices of Classes I and II.

The participants were grouped into two categories — Category A (Class I) and Category B (Class II) — and each young performer stepped forward with a spark of creativity. The event aimed to instill a love for literature and language in our students, while providing them with a platform to display their oratory talent.

All four Houses participated with great zeal and the little stars captivated the audience with their flawless delivery and expressive charm. The panel of judges Ms. Sonal Shah and Ms. Puja Shah evaluated each performance on the basis of choice of poem, pronunciation, voice modulation, clarity, confidence and overall impact.

Category B (Class II)

1st Place: Myra Tiwari - Rabindranath Tagore House

2nd Place: Adyuth Anish Panicker - Rabindranath Tagore House

3rd Place: Het Viren Shah - Amartya Sen House and

3rd Place: Agastya Divyesh Panchal - Jagdishchandra Bose House

The competition concluded with valuable feedback from the judges, who applauded the sincere efforts of all participants. The event ended with the rendition of the National Anthem.
