Trip to Kumbalgadh (Class-V) - 2022

Enchanting memory

From 12th October to 14th October, 2022 students of Class V went to Kumbhalgarh - Rajasthan on an educational trip. 71 students joined the trip organized by Anala outdoors. The team started on 12th October 2022 from JG Campus at 5.30 a.m. Everyone was thrilled to be out with their buddies after a long wait of two years. First break was at Palanpur, after which the children were served breakfast and then we continued our journey. By 3.00 p.m. we reached Kumbhalgarh after passing through many picturesque sights. Children had a lot of fun on the way and were looking forward to a stay full of excitement. We had our stay at Kumbhalgarh Safari resort which was amidst nature.

On reaching Kumbhalgarh, children had a hearty lunch and were assigned rooms where they all settled and freshened up to go to the adventure park. They all had a lot of fun doing zipline and Burma bridge activities. Children collected a lot of memories in the form of photos.

On 13th October, they were taken for trekking in the surrounding Aravalli hills. Children, at first had a bit of a struggle walking, but later on enjoyed it a lot. They returned from the trek at 11 a.m. We started for Haldighati around 1 p.m. On reaching, they visited the museum showcasing the life of Maharana Pratap.  The light and sound show enriched the children about our glorious and gallant kings.  After dinner children had a glimpse of the colorful culture of Rajasthan through the folk dance show. Post dinner, the children were briefed for the next day.

On the 14th morning, they visited Kumbhalgarh fort. Children enjoyed sitting in a gypsy to reach the fort. On reaching the fort, the students were briefed by a local guide about the history of the fort. They found it very interesting and were asking questions to the guide on their way to various spots in the fort. They returned to the resort by 11.30 a.m. They started for Ahmedabad around 1.45 p.m. collecting many more memories during the return journey. The group reached JG Campus at 10.30 p.m.

It was truly a wonderful and enriching journey for all.
