Unity in Action, Talent on Display, Triumph on the Track

JG International School celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 9^th January 2026, igniting the spirit of teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship among students.

The Opening Ceremony commenced with the flag hoisting by the Chairman, Dr. M. P. Chandran, who formally declared the Sports Day open. The Sports Coordinator,      Mr. Kuldeep Gadhavi, escorted the Chairman for the lighting of the ceremonial torch, followed by the symbolic release of colourful balloons representing the four houses.

The Olympic torch lighting and oath-taking ceremony set an inspiring tone for the day. The track and field events showcased remarkable enthusiasm and determination, with students participating in running races, high jump and relay events.

The highlight of the day was the prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the dedication and outstanding performances of all participants. The Champions Trophy was proudly claimed by Amartya Sen House, greeted with thunderous applause from an enthusiastic audience.

The event concluded with a graceful closing ceremony, leaving everyone inspired to carry forward the values of discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship in their daily lives. It was truly an unforgettable day for all involved.
