Inter-House English Debate – 2025
The JGIS auditorium buzzed with enthusiasm as students from Grades IX to XII showcased their confidence and eloquence at the Inter-House English Debate, held on 10th October 2025, on the theme “Taxation laws should be amended to require rich people and companies to pay more taxes.”
The competition featured two participants from each House, one speaking in favor of the motion and the other against it. Participants eloquently expressed their views both for and against the motion, presenting well-researched arguments and engaging rebuttals. There was a session of questions and counter-questions wherein very logical questions were raised. The speakers answered well, backed with examples.
The distinguished judges, Ms. Hetal Philip and Ms. Neha Amin, praised the participants for their articulate delivery and encouraged the students to take part in such competitions to further hone their oratory skills.
