JG International School Celebrates 21 Glorious Years of Excellence

With immense pride and joy, JG International School celebrated its 21st birthday on Friday, 20th June 2025 — a remarkable milestone marking over two decades of academic excellence, holistic development and unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds.

The festivities began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the eternal flame of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a stirring rendition of the JG Anthem, filling the air with unity and pride. The school choir set a soulful tone with their musical performance, while a graceful dance added rhythm and color to the celebration.

On this momentous occasion, the school felicitated students with 100% attendance and honored the Academic Achievers for their exemplary scholastic performance.

The highlight was the presentation of the Rolling Trophies to Houses for their excellence in various categories:

·         Academic Trophy – Amartya Sen House

·         Activity Cup – Amartya Sen House

·         Sports Cup – Jagdishchandra Bose House

·         Games Cup – Rabindranath Tagore House

·         Overall Champions – Amartya Sen House & Jagdishchandra Bose House

The class toppers took a pledge and rendered a speech, reaffirming their commitment to sustain the values and principles instilled by the school. Our Chairman, Dr. M. P. Chandran blessed the students and staff with his inspirational words motivating them to reach new heights.  

The celebration concluded on a sweet note with a ceremonial cake cutting by dignitaries and the rendition of the National Anthem, leaving the audience inspired and proud. The 21st birthday of JGIS was a memorable and meaningful occasion, celebrating achievements and inspiring the entire school community to strive for excellence.
